Program Benefits

Builds self-esteem, boosts confidence, encourages community engagement and mindful conflict resolution, sparks creativity, teaches effective coping strategies to reduce stress and anxiety, develops meaningful team building skills, teaches conscious communication and effective public speaking and strengthens young people’s ability to be supportive and encouraging of themselves and each other.

The Teen Power Circle™ is dedicated to cultivating true community for those seeking deeper connections, authentic communication and unconditional support. It is YOUR time to live passionately, courageously and shine your light confidently while building lasting relationships in your world.

Each gathering includes a blend of:

  • movement (Yoga/dance/Fitness)
  • meditation
  • mindfulness
  • stress management techniques
  • authentic sharing and mindful communication exercises
  • and Journaling

Our circles teach teens to explore the limiting beliefs that may be holding them back and to uncover and celebrate their uniqueness – the skills, talents and super powers that make each of them special in their own way.  As part of the process, circle members learn techniques to cultivate effective teams and how to meaningfully engage in an authentic community-based environment.

  • Meets: Weekly (ongoing)
  • Program Session Length: 60 – 90 minutes
  • Intended participants: Young people ages 13-18
  • Equipment/supplies needed – Dedicated journal and pen, copies of handouts, yoga mats

This program is offered as a school or organization-sponsored activity, either during or outside of regular hours.  We also offer a private, independent version of this program.  Please see here for details and a schedule of current active circles.
